YOGO KIMURA - GENERAL COUNSEL

Yogo Kimura is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Asset Management Professionals. Yogo is the General Counsel for SPARX Group Co., Ltd., an investment company with clients that include corporate pension annuities, government entities, private and trust banks and public pension funds.

As General Counsel, Yogo plays an integral role at the SPARX Group in terms of various contracts, investment fund management business, international finance, and group management.

Yogo joined SPARX in 2008 after five years of practice as litigator and almost three decades of practice with the international law firm of Mori Hamada & Matsumoto in Tokyo. He is continuously recognized as a leading Japanese attorney, specializing in laws and regulations in all aspects of securities, banking, and asset management of investment funds, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions.

In addition, Yogo is a member of many professional organizations including the Japan Federation of Bar Associations, Daini Tokyo Bar Association, International Bar Association, as well as the Inter-Pacific Bar Association.

Yogo received his LLB from the University of Tokyo in 1970 and MCL from the University of Michigan Law School in 1986.
