MICHAEL FRANCIS SOMMER - PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT, PRIMARY CARE- FAMILY MEDICINE
Michael Francis Sommer, RPAC is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Medical Professionals. Michael is a Board Certified Physician’s Assistant practicing at the office of Dr. Edward Yambo, MD.
Michael is extremely skilled in the areas of clinical correlation and instructing of physical diagnoses. In addition, Michael has a vast array of communication skills that aid him in his work as a Physician’s Assistant.
Prior to his current role, Michael had a career as a NYPD Patrolman and Detective for thirteen years. Following a line of duty injury, Michael retired from the force and began a career as a Physician’s Assistant.
Michael is a member of the National Commission of Physician’s Assistants (NCCPA), as well as the United States Tennis Association (USTA). He is also affiliated as a Clinical Instructor at Touro College and as a Key Opinion Leader for Pain Management and Prescription Narcotics at Millennium Laboratories.
In the future, Michael hopes to complete his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree.
