DONALD K. SHEPPARD - PARTNER

Donald K. Sheppard is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Law Professionals. Donald is Partner, Law Firm and Client Management with the firm Jacobs Schlesinger Ople Sheppard LLP.

Donald has more than nine years of experience in the Law Profession and joined the firm Jacobs Schlesinger Ople & Sheppard LLP as a Partner in March 2009. His practice is currently focused on all aspects of employment-based and family-based immigration, as well as removal defense, naturalization, and assistance with consular issues. In addition, Donald has been certified as a Legal Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.

Donald is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and previously served as Chapter Chair for the San Diego Chapter of AILA, and is currently the chair of the San Diego District USCIS liaison committee. In addition, he previously served as the Co-Chair of the Planning Committee for the 20th Annual AILA California Chapters conference held in San Diego in 2007 and as a committee member of the Planning Committee for the 21st Annual AILA California Chapters Conference held in San Francisco in November 2008. Donald also spoke at both conferences and served as the Discussion Leader for a panel at the 21st Annual AILA California Chapters Conference. Furthermore, Donald is also a member of the Japan Society of San Diego and the Greater Tijuana area and is a mentor for the ABA Immigration Justice Project in San Diego.

Donald received his JD from New York Law School, as well as his BBA from Marshall Univeristy.
