Don Pavey is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among IT Professionals. Don is an Author, as well as Owner and Director of MicroAcademy, a company that is a unique resource of ideas and information about colour.

Don’s areas of expertise include Production of Educational Computer Programs, Profiling the Excellence in Everyone, as well as Psychology Aesthetic and Design.

Don has written a number of books on the subject of colour. The most recent of these books are available to buy online at Amazon.com. He is the author of Colour and Humanism - The Psychology & Art of Colour from Greek Times until Today. This book examines colour expression and patterns of thought about colour over history, from the dynamics of the classical palette of earths to the lost tradition of the great Venetians, and the power of colour as a cultural instrument. In addition, Don has co-authored On Colours: A Translation from Latin with Roy Osborne. This book is a translation from an original work by 16th century scholar Antonio Telesio, probing ancient colour words and ideas, foreshadowing future trends.

In addition to his work as an author and Owner of MicroAcademy, Don is also a member of Colourgroup Great Britain, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Don received  his ARCA Degree from the Royal College of Art.
